A new historical tour of pozzuoli that finishes in a beautiful Italian aperitivo with local wines and products.
Visiting the Phlegrean Fields means traveling in the past; we’ll accompany you, by car, to discover the most evocative sites, with tasting of typical products and a good local wine in an equally magical place.
RIONE TERRA.
Between houses and alleys of ancient Pozzuoli, we find the temple/cathedral unique in its kind, archaeological excavations of the temple of emperor Augustus and in the cathedral there are paintings by artists known as Artemisia Gentileschi, Stanzione, Francazano, Lanfranco.
ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK OF BAIA THERMAL BATHS.
It’s one of the most magnificent archaeological and architectural complexes in the Mediterranean. The remains reveal a stratification of buildings, villas and spa complexes belonging to a following period: Republican Age, Augustan, Hadrian and Severe.

We will pick you up by car. Appointment at 9.00 a.m. in a place to be agreed, near your accommodation. Drive off to visit the fascinating Rione Terra, the first urban settlement in the area of Pozzuoli from the second century A.C. with guided tour by local guides to the temple/cathedral and the art gallery. We will visit the Parco Archeologico delle Terme di Baia. The tour ends with a tipical Italian aperitivo where local Flegrean wine and local products will be served on Lake Averno.
Once the tour is over (1.00 p.m.-1.30 p.m.), we will drive you back to the pickup point.
